About Us

Joleen E. Smith founded Dust Bunny Designs in 2004 in
order to pursue her passion for organizing. She is an
active    member    of     the    National    Association    of
Professional Organizers,   the   Faithful Organizers, and
the Bastrop Chamber of Commerce. She graduated with
a B.A. in Psychology from the University of Texas at
Austin, where she was a proud member of the Longhorn
Band... Hook 'Em Horns!

Before starting Dust Bunny Designs, Joleen worked as a
Project   Coordinator    at    Inter-Tel,    a   national   tele-
communications   firm,   and the Program Manager for
Texas Mental Health Consumers, a statewide nonprofit
organization.   Because of her experience in both the
corporate world and non-profit social services, Joleen is
adept at working with a variety of clients,   including
those with mental illness.

Joleen has over 7 years experience in training and adult
education, including developing training materials and
public speaking. She is a certified Wellness Recovery
Action Plan Facilitator and a Baby Signs® Independent
Certified Instructor.

Joleen is a Christian and a member of Hillcrest Baptist
Church in   Austin,   TX.   In her free time,   she enjoys
volleyball,   genealogy,   and   spending   time with   her
husband   and   children.   As a   professional   organizer,
Joleen specializes in home organization for the family,
including kid's rooms and play areas,   clutter control,
and closet design and organization.   With seven younger
brothers and sisters and two children of her own, Joleen
knows what it takes to get organized. Together, we will
conquer your clutter!
